11th ifo Dresden Workshop on Regional Economics

The ifo Institute, Dresden Branch, announces the 11th ifo Dresden Workshop on Regional Economics. The workshop aims at facilitating the networking of young scientists and at promoting the exchange of their latest research. Relevant topics include regional structural change, political economy, economic history, and public economics. Preference is given to empirical papers estimating causal inferences in a spatial context, natural experiments, or recent geo-data and respective methods.

** We hope to be able to hold the workshop as an on-site meeting in Dresden. However we are constantly monitoring the situation with regard to Covid-19 and will keep all interested parties updated with ongoing developments. 

The workshop will be held in English.
