12th ifo Dresden Workshop on Regional Economics

The ifo Institute, Dresden Branch, is pleased to announce the 12th ifo Dresden Workshop on Regional Economics. The workshop aims at facilitating the networking of young scientists and at promoting the exchange of their latest research. This year, preference is given to contributions on the following topics:
- Regional Structural Change
- Political Economy
- Economic History
- Public Economics
Preference is given to empirical papers estimating causal inferences in a spatial context, natural experiments, or recent geo-data and respective methods.
We specifically encourage PhD students and post-doctoral researchers to submit their research. Each paper will be allocated 45 minutes, to be divided between the presentation, a short discussion by an assigned workshop participant and a general discussion.
