Restart after Covid-19: A Comparison of Crisis Stimulus

The relentless waves of the coronavirus pandemic are giving governments around the world little breathing space. Nevertheless, they must develop strategies for economic recovery and a fresh start after Covid-19. Structural change in key industries must be further supported, digital transformation promoted, and climate change mitigated. This calls for financing concepts that keep public debt in check and do not place an undue burden on the welfare state. How can a restart after the coronavirus succeed under these conditions? What solutions have other countries found, and what lessons can be learned from them?
