Price pressure continues

In east Germany the climate turned only slightly upward, with a less unfavourable business situation being offset by increased pessimism regarding the business outlook. The equipment utilisation rate at 66% was three percentage points above the previous-year level. Whereas contractors in west Germany expect prices to increase slightly in the coming months, east German contractors continue to anticipate price declines.
