Wholesaling: Favourable outlook drives order plans

In wholesaling, the business climate has improved once again. With continued favourable demand, the surveyed wholesalers have assessed their current business situation just as positively as in the previous month, and there were hardly any reports of excess inventories. Since the business outlook has also brightened further, the firms have revised their order plans upwards. Also employee numbers are set to increase, according to firms' plans. In the opinion of the survey participants, prices are expected to increase further.
