German companies and their employees seem well-equipped for the challenges of digitalisation, according to the results of the Randstad ifo Personnel Manager Survey for the second quarter of 2017. Only around 2% of the companies surveyed stated that digitalisation played absolutely no role in their branch. All others described changes in their branch as at least minor, while over half of the personnel managers surveyed reported being heavily or very heavily affected by digitalisation. The survey also revealed that its impact grows with company size. Moreover the "digital revolution" is still in full swing. This means that the world of work will probably face a multitude of innovative changes in the future.
