Return and Integration Prospects of Ukrainian Refugees

The ifo Institute and the Research Center of the German Federal Office for Migration and Refugees are pleased to announce their joint workshop on “Return and Integration Prospects of Ukrainian Refugees”.

There are around 110 million refugees and internally displaced persons around the world, with more than 10 million of them from Ukraine. The aim of this workshop is to bring together researchers working on refugee migration, return migration, and integration, with a special focus on Ukrainian refugees in Europe.

Submissions of other refugee-related research papers are also welcome. We encourage especially submissions of research using large survey or administrative data or bringing these together.

Please submit your (preliminary) paper by May 31, 2024. Acceptance decisions will be announced by June 17, 2024.
