Tasks

DFINEQ is a comprehensive country comparison between Germany and France on the development of inequality and poverty in the last 25 years. The development of inequality and poverty was intensively studied in both countries separately. However, to date there exists no systematic comparison between the two countries. The scientific goal of this project is to systematically identify similarities and differences in the development of inequality and to derive policy recommendations. The project aims to create a French-German document that serves as a basis for the scientific community and the public debate.
