In four sector forums – Manufacturing, Retail Trade, Construction, and Services – experts from companies, associations, politics and research discuss about current developments in these industries as well as about sector-specific focus topics such as digitization, innovation, productivity, international trade or labor market.

Results

This year's virtual ifo Industry Colloquium, focused on the implications of the Co-rona crisis across and within industries. The industry forum addressed the ques-tion of how the Corona pandemic is changing supply chains and sales channels in foreign trade.  The trade forum focused on the impact of the pandemic on trade in cities. The construction forum discussed the slowdown in construction activity and changes in building use. Finally, the services forum explored how the Corona crisis is affecting startups.
