HR Survey on Diversity in Recruiting

Tasks

The ifo Institute conducted an online survey of 900 HR managers on behalf of Indeed on the topic of diversity in recruiting. The focus was on the question of the extent to which the workforce of the companies surveyed has become more diverse in recent years, whether and what strategies the companies are pursuing to attract more diverse candidates, and how successful they are in doing so. It was also of interest to find out what experiences HR managers have had with a more diverse composition of the team.

Methods

In order to obtain a sample that is as representative as possible for the German economy, companies from the manufacturing, wholesale, retail and service sectors throughout Germany took part in the survey. Care was also taken to ensure that both small and medium-sized enterprises and large companies were represented in the panel.
