EU enlargement and labour-force migration: Proposals for a gradual convergence of labour markets

The goal of this study is to examine the consequences of EU enlargement and the free movement of labour on Germany. To estimate the migration potential after EU enlargement, econometric-based simulation models are used for the four most heavily populated accession countries.
