World economy climate clearly worsened
Results of the 78th World Economic Survey (WES) in October 2002

In October the indicator for the world economic climate decreased perceptibly. The decline was caused above all by the less confident expectations for the next six months; the assessments of the current situation were less unfavourable, however. The overall results give no sign of a revival of growth in the near future.
