The new European automobile industry

This year's CESifo International Spring Conference will take place in the British Embassy in Berlin on 16/17 March 2005. On the first day of the conference, the economic outlook of important world regions will be examined. The second day will focus on business developments in key European industries. Peter Wells of the Center for Automotive Industry Research, Cardiff, will be one of the featured speakers. Here he offers a short appraisal of developments in the European automotive industry.
