Ifo Business Survey in December 2008

The Ifo Business Climate indicator for German trade and industry fell clearly in December. It thus continued the downward path that has prevailed for more than a year. This time the worsening of the current business situation was the striking feature. With regard to business developments in the coming half year, the level of scepticism remained largely unchanged.
