A critique of the "Global Go-To Think Tank" rankings for 2009

On 28 January 2010 the Foreign Policy Research Institute presented its "Tank Think and Civil Societies Program" for 2009, consisting of a great number think-tank rankings, a study that also attracted attention in Germany. This article subjects the study to a critical analysis and concludes that the study's methodology is deficient and displays considerable inaccuracies.
