Ifo Business Survey October 2012 in Brief

The Ifo Business Climate for German trade and industry fell for the sixth time in succession. Firms’ dissatisfaction with their current situation increased once again. Their business expectations, on the other hand, remained unchanged at a low level. The clouds over the German economy are darkening. The Ifo Employment Barometer for German trade and industry edged downwards slightly in October.
