Ifo Industry Colloquium 2013 (ifo Branchen-Dialog 2013)

This year’s Ifo Industry Colloquium (Ifo Branchen-Dialog) took place on 7 November 2013. As usual, the statements by Hans-Werner Sinn on the overall economic situation and the outlook for the year ahead were followed by the four branch forums. The closing speech was given by Günther Oettinger, the EU Commissioner for Energy, and was entitled: “The way to securing our future: a European energy strategy”. This article summarises the conference.
