Construction Demand Remains Sluggish in Europe

After a decline in European construction activity amounting to around 8% in 2012 and 2013, EUROCONSTRUCT experts a slight upturn in 2014. Construction volume is expected to grow by almost 1½% in the 19 partner countries. According to forecasts, this positive, albeit subdued development, will continue into 2016. The respective increases in 2015 and 2016 are expected to lie just slightly above the 2% marker.
