The Labour Market Opportunities of Refugees

The results of an Ifo Institute survey of personnel managers in over 1,000 companies show that personnel managers in the catering industry, in the metals processing and in the food industry have experience with recruiting refugees. Overall, only 7% of personnel managers reported having recruited refugees in their company in the last 24 months, or employing them at present. Personnel managers with experience are twice as willing to recruit managers in the years ahead as those who have no experience with them.
