Uncertainty among German Companies Grows Significantly

Uncertainty among German companies about future economic developments has grown significantly recently. The ifo Dispersion Measure, which is calculated on a monthly basis as part of the ifo Business Survey and measures insecurity, rose by 6.2 points between May and September. This was mainly due to growing uncertainty among manufacturers and service providers.
