Economists at German universities expect the new US President Joe Biden to have a positive effect on the economy in Germany and the EU. In the current Economists Panel, 71 percent of participants stated that they considered Biden’s presidency to be "fairly positive,” and 5 percent even “very positive” for the German economy, while 19 percent declared that the election had “no influence.”
