Sectors in Focus: Construction Industry

The construction industry is also suffering from the consequences of the coronavirus pandemic. Compared to the economy as a whole, however, the adverse effects are much more moderate here. It is also encouraging that the industry has been able to regain strength from the construction boom of recent years and was therefore in remarkable shape at the beginning of the year. However, it is to be expected that construction demand will decline noticeably in some segments in the coming months.
