On September 24, 2020, the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung published its new economist ranking. This article presents a few descriptive analyses and makes some comments on methodology and interpretation. It also discusses several critical points and ultimately compares the FAZ ranking with that on the RePEc website.
