European Construction Sector Back on Course for Growth – Selected Results of the EUROCONSTRUCT Summer Conference 2021

The construction experts of the EUROCONSTRUCT network put the decline in European construction output in 2020 at 5.1 percent. A year ago, they had expected losses to amount to 11.5 percent. The recovery in the current and the coming year is expected to be strong, totaling 6.9 percent. However, non-residential construction, which is largely dependent on demand from commercial clients, remains a problem.
