In 2021, economic output in eastern Germany is expected to grow by 2.4%; in Saxony, GDP is expected to increase by a slightly stronger 3.1% (Germany: 3.3%). In the coming year, the economies of eastern Germany and Saxony are expected to grow by 3.6% and 3.9% respectively (Germany: 4.3%).
