Support Programs in the Corona Crisis - An Interim Report

The Corona pandemic has hit the German economy severely. The federal and state governments have launched a whole range of different support programs for affected companies to mitigate the financial consequences of the crisis. In this article, we show the dimensions of the aids utilized since the end of March 2020. The support programs provided during the first phase of the pandemic have been used much more frequently to date than the subsequent support programs. Overall, significantly less funding has been drawn down so far than originally expected.
