In this report, we simulate different scanarios of an unconditional basic income in Germany. For this purpose, we use a standard method of evaluating reform proposals in the tax and transfer system -- microsimulation. A fundamental tax- and transfer reform such as the universal basic income can involve numerous potential adjustment channels. Here, we report the effects on labor supply and income distribution in the context of a structural static labor supply model of the discrete choice model class.
