The Green Transformation in Business and Politics – Where Are the Opportunities and Risks?

When it took office, the traffic light government saw the fight against climate change as one of its most important projects. Against the backdrop of the Ukraine war, securing Germany's energy supply has now moved to the top of the list. As a result, Germany will have to rely more heavily on fossil fuels again than planned for a transitional period. However, the war has also raised awareness of how dangerous dependence on gas and oil imports is for an industrialized economy. This could lead to a significant increase in the acceptance of industry and society for a faster expansion of renewable energies - and the associated investments. Where are the opportunities and where are the risks for the green transformation?
