Innovation in Germany and the EU – a Path of Strength?

Research and development (R&D) are crucial drivers for innovation and thus ort he competitiveness of economies. Innovations are essential for addressing major societal challenges such as climate change, decarbonization of the economy, and demographic shifts. In recent years, many programs to promote R&D have been developed and implemented in the European Union and Germany. Is Europe, as well as Germany, on the right path?
