Assessment of Coronavirus Aid: How Satisfied Are Companies?

The coronavirus pandemic continues to have the German economy firmly in its grasp. In response, the federal government has launched a series of aid programs in the “third wave” to mitigate the financial consequences for the affected companies. This article looks at how the main aid programs are being received by service providers and retailers. The result shows that service providers rate the aid programs more positively than retailers. The hospitality industry gave the aid programs the highest ratings. Here, moreover, the disbursement rate is also by far the highest.
