In four sector forums – Manufacturing, Retail Trade, Construction, and Services – experts from companies, associations, politics and research discuss about current developments in these industries as well as about sector-specific focus topics such as digitization, innovation, productivity, international trade or labor market.

Results
The priority topics of the 2018 ifo Industry Colloquium were the (digital) transformation of manufacturing firms into service providers, the role of services in global competition, the challenges of retail logistics in a digital environment as well as capacity bottlenecks in the construction sector.
