Tasks

The study will be conducted within a framework agreement with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry for Munich and Upper Bavaria to provide objective, scientifically-based economic advisory work. Details

The aim of the study is to present the current state of affairs in the field of sustainable finance and to answer the following key questions:

  • How is the Sustainable Finance approach (of the EU and the German government) to be assessed in terms of economic and regulatory policy?
  • What does the policy goal of "German market leadership in Sustainable Finance" mean for Germany as a business location in the European and international competition?
  • What would have to be taken into account when implementing the Sustainable Finance measures in order not to overburden SMEs and not to jeopardise Germany as a business location in international competition?
