Project Contents
The ifo Institute has been commissioned by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry for Munich and Upper Bavaria to work on a major, ongoing project involving independent, scientifically-based economic advisory work.
As part of this project the ifo Institute is involved in drafting economics studies (meta-analyses, empirical policy evaluations, the conducting and evaluation of surveys etc.), the drafting and organisation of economic-policy oriented events, as well as a regular exchange of knowledge on economic policy topics.
All of ifo’s Centers are involved in the project. The ifo Center for Industrial Economics and New Technologies is supervising the project.
Methodological Approach
All studies are conducted on the basis of plausible and verifiable facts and are carried out according to the latest research.
Data Sources
ifo surveys and individual data from representative surveys, data from official statistics like, for example, the Federal and Länder Official Statistics Offices, the Federal Employment offices etc.
