      Die Politik in Deutschland hat die Verantwortung, zu verhindern, dass die aktuellen Finanzierungsprobleme langfristige Schäden anrichten, fordern Clemens Fuest, Michael Hüther und Jens Südekum. Deutschland leidet nicht unter einem ökonomischen Schuldenproblem in dem Sinne, dass die Kapitalmärkte dem Land die ursprünglich geplanten Kredite nicht zu Verfügung stellen. Vielmehr muss es seinen Umgang mit dem Verfassungsgerichtsurteil finden und rechtssichere Haushalte aufstellen. Doch dies darf nicht auf Kosten öffentlicher und privater Investitionen geschehen. Ansonsten gefährdet Deutschland seine Zukunft und damit letztlich auch seine Schuldentragfähigkeit.
